LIVRET DE RÈGLES EN ANGLAIS

Nouveaux roles = Communiste (3 cartes), Staline (1 carte)

+nouveau plateau communiste

➜  The President secretly looks at the top four tiles in the discard pile : the ones themselves and the Chancellor just discarded as well as the two that were discarded by the previous government, then returns them to the top of the deck without changing the order.

> replaces the Policy Peek tiles of the Fascist Board

➜  The President chooses a player to act as a spy and investigate another player of their (the President’s) choosing. Investigated players should hand their Party Membership card (not Secret Role card!) to the spy, who checks the player’s loyalty in secret and then returns the card to the player. The spy then must share (or lie about!) the results of their investigation with the President at their discretion. No player may be investigated twice in the same game.

> replaces the Investigate Loyalty tiles of the Fascist Board

➜  The previous Chancellors form a Politburo consisting of three members — meaning if the previous three Chancellors only amount to two members, the previous fourth will become the third member. The Politburo then chooses any other player at the table to be the next Presidential Candidate by passing that player the President placard. Any player (except ones previously sent to the Gulag) can become President—even players that are term-limited. The new President nominates an eligible player as Chancellor Candidate and the Election proceeds as usual.

A Special Election does not skip any players. After a Special Election, the President placard returns to the left of the President who enacted the Special Election.

If the Politburo passes the presidency to the next player in the rotation, that player would get to run for President twice in a row: once for the Special Election and once for their normal shift in the Presidential rotation.

> replaces the Call Special Election tiles of the Fascist Board

➜  The President sends one player at the table to the Gulag by saying “I formally send [player name] to the Gulag.” Players sent to the Gulag are removed from the game for one turn and may not speak, vote, or run for office. Afterwards, they return from the Gulag and may still speak or vote, but not run for office.

When playing with under 10 players (meaning in the case of the communist board replacing the fascist board), if Stalin is sent to the Gulag, the game ends in a Liberal victory. When playing with over 13 players (meaning the liberals, the fascists and the communists are cohabiting), if Stalin or Hitler is sent to the Gulag, they reveal their roles and their respective followers loose the game. However, the remaining players don’t reveal their secret roles, and if they manage to have 2 policies be voted at random, they take the rest of the players down with them and no one wins.
